冬至Winter Solstice Festival=)
Sunday, December 21, 2008

hey all=)
Its the day for the arrival of winter!
Background information:-冬至
"Dong Zhi" is the second most important festival in the Chinese calendar.
It is also the last festival of the year before the beginning of a new year, and it is also a time to gather the entire family.
The family, normally those who are more tradition, will tend to make their own glutinous rice balls aka Tang Yuan (汤圆) and eat them(of cos cooked) to signify unity and harmony within the family.
"Dong Zhi" is a special day whereby the night is the longest throughout the rest of the year to have family reunion.
By eating the glutinous rice balls , it also meant that we have grow one year older! haha

This is the biggest tang yuan made by me! (zoom in view)
*smiles*hehe
w0w so many of them^^
Specially made, those pure white=)
The white contains sesame, The pink contains peanuts(:

I enjoyed making Tang Yuans with my family, i find it fun and meaningful=) hahax
This festival also bond us as one and strengthen our relationship, and so we must respect this occasion!
i love the sesame one(: Must try! 4.5*/5*

........-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-........
It was really frustrating and irritating! incredulous!!
!@_@!
Its his fault! He did not occupied the seat before us and YET he still dared to stared at us glaringly! Moreover the seat does not have his name and the shop does not belongs to him nor his father! And he have an ill-bred child who does not know the"*" word and still have the cheek to ask his mum, and i supposed his mum did not know either, cos she did not reply to his question..hahaha! coward!

I shall not go on any further, and end my frustrations here, lets do not let these "tootz" to spoil my mood=)

i love 冬至! (:
